Questions#
Why is almost every net negative?
Because base-tier exchange fees are larger than most price gaps: 0.80% on Kraken and 0.90% on Coinbase. Enter your own fee tier; see Fees.
Does Materral place trades for me?
Not yet. Today every trade is a paper trade against live quotes. Real execution comes in phases, starting with small caps; see Roadmap.
Will every trade go through Elysium?
Most will, once Elysium's order lane is live: Elysium becomes the default route for any trade with a HyperCore or Elysium leg. Hyperliquid direct stays as the fallback, and exchange legs are placed on the exchange. See Trade routing.
Do I need to connect a wallet or an exchange account?
No. Materral reads public market data and never asks for keys or funds.
Which assets and venues are covered?
HYPE, BTC, ETH and SOL across Kraken, Coinbase, Binance.US, OKX and Bitstamp; Uniswap v3 on Ethereum, Arbitrum and Base; and Hyperliquid (HyperCore books plus the HyperEVM pools Project X and nest). See Venues.
Why are Binance.com and Bybit missing?
They are blocked from the developer's location, so they are not connected.
Can I move funds between venues to take a gap?
Not inside Materral. Cross-venue routes assume funds are already on both venues; withdrawals are not modelled.
How accurate are the pool quotes?
They match the pools' own on-chain swap() results to the wei, checked by the verify-pool-quotes script. See How it works.
Why did my paper trade fail?
Usually a stale quote or a down feed at fill time, slippage past the limit, or a pool leg beyond its tick range. Paper trading lists every reason.
Are WBTC, cbBTC and UBTC treated as BTC?
Yes, valued 1:1, with a warning on every route that uses them. The same goes for WETH, UETH and USOL.
Where are my settings stored?
In your browser's local storage. They are never put in URLs.
Is this investment advice?
No. Materral shows prices, costs and assumptions. Decisions are yours.
