Our story
When markets break, prices split apart, and whoever sees it first keeps the difference. Materral exists so that can be you, with the real costs in front of you before you put a dollar in.
October 29#
Attackers took $6.3 billion from Binance and raced to swap stablecoins into ETH before anything could be frozen. They bought so hard that one of Uniswap's main ETH pools traded 38% above the rest of the market.
By morning, bad execution had cost them $119 million. Traders and bots picked up about $60 million of it. Most people found out after it was over.
It keeps happening#
A year earlier, during a crash, USDe fell to $0.65 on Binance while it held above $0.90 everywhere else. Hacks, depegs and bad prints open gaps like this again and again. They are real, and they are big. They are also gone fast, and only worth anything if you have the data, the liquidity and an honest read on the costs.
A big gap is not a good trade#
During the Binance chaos, one well-known Ethereum bot made $2.87 million on its trades and paid $2.95 million in fees. It caught the move and still lost money.
What we are building#
The stable layer in an unstable market.
- We watch HYPE, BTC, ETH and SOL across Hyperliquid, Uniswap and the major exchanges, all at once.
- We price it at your size. When prices split, you see what the trade returns for the amount you would actually put in, after fees, slippage and gas.
- You decide. We never hold your funds or your keys. You see the whole trade before you commit to it.
Why Elysium#
A gap can close between the moment you find it and the moment your trade lands. Materral is built for Elysium, which targets blocks up to 10× faster than HyperEVM. Shorter blocks mean less time waiting to get in, and a better shot before the gap closes.
Start here#
Open Getting started and place a paper trade against live prices. Set your size and your real fees, then look at what the trade would actually return. Costs shows the math, and Elysium covers where trades will execute.
